DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINIAN GRAMMAR COMPETENCE IN SCHOOL GRADUATES IN EIE-TEST-DRIVEN INSTRUCTION

Background: Training school graduates for External Independent Evaluation (EIE) in Ukrainian is a specialprocess oriented towards developing students’ necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient passing the EIE test within shortest time possible taking from several months to weeks. Part of EIE, grammar occupies prominent place training schoolers test. The development graduates’ competence relies on block teaching technology which intended improve, systematize, guide knowledge acquisition as well enhance their skills abilities. was designed organize learning material relatively complete conceptual blocks, each them involving four components: theory, practice, individual work, assessment. Purpose: present study aims design 10-11th- grade students provide its implementation educational process. Results Discussion: paper proves that relevant content EIE-test-driven curriculum. includes 15 modules Each based principles consolidation, logical completeness coherence, consideration performance level, perceptions materials, correlation information block, alignment with Moreover, stages: theory presentation; through exercising; work; assessment after block. developed methodology confirmed effectiveness EIE-oriented classroom. perspective further research lies designing technologies other topics language.
